Government documents blog

Poplar Creek Public Library's government documents page on their website used to be a long page of links. I should know, because I picked out all the local documents links for that page. The link page seems to be gone now, which is probably for the best; search engines have long since taken the place of link pages and people were not using it.

Better* is the idea of having a blog that highlights a specific government document, one at a time. This can show people the width and breadth of how much publishing happens at all levels of government, some of which is either really interesting or really useful. But assuming you can get people to look; there's so much apathy towards government these days.

Writing this government documents blog was discussed before I left and it was going to become my newest job responsibility. Too bad I never got to add to it; the blog only has seven posts over the course of seven months, and I write that many blog posts in two days.

*(Slightly better. Even blogs seem to be slightly old-fashioned these days, with more photogenic people taking to vlogging)
