Doc Savage lives!

I do have a new book that I checked out to read and review. Honest.However, that's not what I started reading this week. Instead, I ignored it and started reading this.

Back in 2007, Nostalgic Ventures started republishing the original Doc Savage novellas in softcover books, with two stories back-to-back (actually, an original essay serves as "intermission" between the stories). The stories retain the original art and the formatting of the originals, which sometimes leads to unusual page layouts where a word that was obviously meant for the top of the page in a shorter paperback appears at mid-page.

These are a fun, quick read and a worthy edition to your library collections, if you don't already have them. The day may yet come when Dwayne Johnson gets tapped to play Doc Savage, and you don't want your collections to be short when that happens!
