Library activities keep kids busy during winter break

"EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- With many kids on winter break from school, the L.E Philips Memorial Public Library is helping to keep them busy.

"Every day that the kids are out of school, there is a different activity going on at the library. They also have a scavenger hunt happening every day to let the kids find clues and explore around the library in hopes that the kids and their parents can discover some new opportunities the library has to offer..."

Public libraries have always complemented the education children get in public schools, and there are few better examples of this than when public schools are closed for vacation. Public libraries then step up and fill that gap. A lot of libraries around me (including my old one) do loads of programs during Christmas break, but this is the one I found an article (complete with video!) for.
