Writing Club

My first programming task here at my new job may be taking over the writing club. It seems, the way it's currently run, it's more of an educational workshop, but attendance has dropped off to the point where the club may just go away, if it can't be revitalized.

I would prefer to run it the way traditional writers group way -- as a social setting where you can bring your ongoing work and share it for feedback. I have a pretty critical ear and it could be tough not saying anything, and I won't unless I'm asked directly for input; it would be better if this was a place for our patrons to hear from each other.

I just need more local authors, wannabe authors, budding writers...I may open it up to older teens too, like 17 and up.

Update: I just made my first flier for the club using LibraryAware, a sort-of more-user-friendly Microsoft Publisher we subscribe to here...
