About a week ago, I had stopped by the Roselle Public Library again to check in on how the remodel was going. The temporary walls were all down and they were in the process of transitioning everything back in place (I've been back once since and now everything is back).
I think this picture gives you a great sense for how much natural light this part of the library gets.
This, and the next shot, give you a better view of the new light fixtures that were added, filling the vertical space.
And this one also shows the new window to the upstairs Children's room. Now, if memory serves me correctly, there used to be a just a short wall and an open balcony up there, so this was less about adding natural light to the Children's room and ...perhaps keeping noise from one level away from the other? I forgot to ask, so I can only speculate on that part.
