Yorkville Public Library - part 2

Got some more!

Illinois Compiled Statutes!  I had assumed at the time that Air Force: A Complete History was a federal document, but the Air Force Historical Foundation is a private enterprise, funded by the contract companies that make planes for the Air Force (of course).
The largest collection of Star Wars novels I've seen in a while.
I always appreciate seeing a local documents/history collection. It's not surprising to see it paired up with genealogy, since they work together so well.
The perspective here seems to make the rocking chairs look larger than they are. The Mrs. and I did find them quite comfortable here in the quiet reading room.
These plaques nicely summarize the expansive growth of the library over time.
I am no longer surprised to see public scanners in libraries, but what did surprise me is how many libraries have their scanners set up in this exact set-up now, with flatbed on the left, looseleaf scanner on the right, and the touchscreen in the middle with the USB pod out in front. I think the only difference I see now is whether the pod's cord comes around the monitor on its left or right.
