Elizabeth Warren biography

Sorry the image is dark; I took this in my car in the late evening, before heading home after Taste of Roselle this last weekend.

The book is Elizabeth Warren: Her Fight, Her Work, Her Life.  It's a new book; Publishers Weekly calls it an "admiring biography," which must mean a biography that seems too positive in its assessment.

But I'm not here to talk about the book, per se, I'm here to talk about how the Roselle Public Library gave me this book for free.  Granted, I got lucky; when I walked up to their vendor booth at the Taste and spun their prize wheel I might have gotten a bookmark or a piece of candy or some such, but the wheel landed on free book, so I got to go behind the table and choose any one book off their cart of books for giveaway.

A lot of libraries have book sales for their overflow books. Some libraries just give them away for free. But letting you feel like you won a free book -- well, I'm going to appreciate this book even more than I would have otherwise.
