This was not the book I planned on posting about.
I had checked out two books recently, one was more academic and was going to show up on this blog, while this was going to be my "guilty pleasures" book, as I can never pass up something about Walt Disney.
Walt Disney is a lot like the Beatles, just when you think everything has already been said, someone manages to come out with a new book and a new angle. This time the angle is specificity; instead of a full biography, we're treated to some chapters around a lot of photographs that document Walt's young wanderlust, his many trips abroad once he was rich, and how the world came to him once he built his amusement parks. There is little here that will surprise the serious Disney fan, but it's still really nice to have all this between two covers to browse and enjoy.
