Sonya Crawshaw Branch of the Poplar Creek Public Library

I visited my closest library to home today, the Sonya Crawshaw Branch Library. Attendance is pretty low at the branch, so I always get a good parking space. I chose to snap a photo that showed the sign by the street, which doesn't show you how gorgeous the landscaping is outside the building. My mistake.

Inside, the branch is about as compact as a library that's not a bookmobile can get, but the desk clerks are top notch and always helpful and friendly.

 My favorite feature of the library are these, as the branch got ingenious about how to handle that limited space issue. If you grew up buying comic books off a spinner rack, like I did, then these book spinner racks are delightfully nostalgic.
