Fandom: Fic Writers, Vidders, Gamers, Artists, and Cosplayers

I don't have much to say about this book, because there's not much of a book here. At 120 pages, with only 2 pages dedicated to roleplaying games and a laughably less than 2 pages dedicated to comic books, this serves as only the barest and broadest of overviews of the various fandoms out there. A book three times this size, written for an adult audience, might be a fascinating treatise.

The book does do a fairly good job of including early, 19th century fandom. But what it really excels at is acting like a checklist for librarians. Scan every two pages -- has that fandom group been addressed by any of your programming yet?
